The X-Project

So, I'm out of a job, and I've never been much for freeloading, but I figure I can probably be useful enough around the place that that's not going to bother me too much. But at the same time, we'd probably better come up with some excuse for an ex-spook to be hanging around a school. Which means that, as much as the notion fills me with horror, I'm probably going to have to have some kind of contact with students, because I'm fucked if I'm going to be the mild-mannered janitor, or anything else equally stupid.

But christ knows what I can teach 'em. For the time being, I can probably help out by picking up Braddock's Intro to Self Defence class, but long term, we'd better come up with something. Trouble is, most of my stock in trade isn't something I want to be teaching kids, who really don't need to be learning small-unit tactics, counter-espionage and vicious nosey bastardry until at least post-grad.

And just to make things really amusing, it should be something we can suspend from time to time without raising eyebrows, because what I'm really good for is still going to mean time away from here on a semi-regular basis.

So, anyone got any bright ideas?
